Is this for you?

“What are 2-3 things you could be doing for your health but currently aren't?"   That is one of the questions we ask you during our first meeting.   Our philosophy is that you know what you should or shouldn't be doing to improve your health; you really don't need us or anyone else to tell you.  Coaching is a process that relies on the fact that you know what is best for you, and that is what we will help you to discover.   We will give you a lot of information, support and motivation along the way, but ultimately it is you who will determine what works best based on your YOU-niquness.   If you're a busy, intelligent and interesting person with a good sense of humor, then we are probably a good fit. Top 
 
 
How does Amplify Life differ from a traditional Nutritionist, Dietician or other Diet Programs?
 
Amplify Life supports the WHOLE-you. What separates us from other dieticians, nutritionists and other diet programs out there is that we don’t stop with just food. The word holistic means that we support the whole you. You can eat great and exercise everyday…but, if you hate your job, feel stressed out, not doing much home healthy cooking and have absolutely no time for yourself…are you really healthy? In our eyes – we say no! We help you get off the diet rollercoaster for good! We help you find out what foods really work great for you and how to start eating healthier without feeling overwhelmed or missing out on the good things in life. We also help you deconstruct your cravings so you can get to the bottom of them.   If you don’t, it doesn’t matter how many diets, trends and fads you do, those foods will keep sneaking back in at some point in time. 
 
This is a unique approach. As a Holistic Health Coach, We are your personal advocate for living an energized and passionate life. Whatever your concerns are, our job is to help you find which food and lifestyle choices will work best for you and the life you desire. When diet changes, everything changes.  What you eat literally becomes your cells, blood, tissues, organs and even your thoughts, decisions and emotions.
 
We take you through a process that produces changes in your food choices, physical activity, and lifestyle at a pace that is comfortable for you.  Our programs produce lasting results and you will gain resources and tools you can use for a lifetime.  This approach is different; it is based on you as a unique individual.
 
This approach is not about acquiring more self-discipline or willpower.  It's about personally discovering what nourishes you, what feeds you and ultimately what makes your life extraordinary!  Top 
 
 
Would hiring a health coach be worth the money?
 
Nobody wants to waste their money. A few key questions may help you decide whether coaching would be worth it for you. We suggest that you ask yourself:
  • How important is it that I achieve the results I want?
  • What are the benefits in being healthier?
  • What are the costs in not eating and taking care of myself better?
  • What has been your track record of independently (i.e., without coaching) achieving your past goals?
  • Would coaching support make it more likely for you to achieve your goals and justify the cost of coaching?
How important is it to you to improve your health, reduce stress, increase your happiness, and take better care of yourself and your family? Will I have to follow a diet, count calories, or measure portions?
 
This is the opposite of what we do. We empower you to weed through media confusion and discover for yourself exactly what types of foods you thrive on, and which foods are having a negative impact on your health. Our goal is to help you make long term lifestyle changes that enable you to never again follow a diet.  Top 
 
 
Am I a good candidate for one of the programs?
 
We would love to work with you if you are looking to create lasting lifestyle changes and are not looking for a "quick fix". If you are the type of person who follows through with commitments and are willing to take responsibility for your own success as well as challenges, then you would be an ideal client.  Top 
 
 
What should I expect from the programs?
 
Expect to experience a very common-sense, step-by-step and supportive approach to improving your health. You will receive many opportunities for support, and various group activities. Follow the recommendations and put forth your best effort and you will be sure to reach your goals!  Top 
 
 
I eat pretty healthy, why would I want a health coach?
We used to think this way too. The funny thing is what we thought was healthy wasn't actually very healthy for us. Everybody is unique. A health coach helps you figure out the optimal way of eating for YOUR unique body.

Also, many of us may know WHAT to eat to be healthy, but we don't always do it - right? That's because knowing is not enough. A health coach takes you from theory to practice, helping you integrate healthy habits into your lifestyle.  Top 
 
 
I'm not ready to commit to a whole program, how do I find out if this is right for me?

Great! The first step is to schedule an initial consultation for $20, (a $40 value). The initial consultation consists of a conversation on the phone up to 50 minutes. You will come away with a better sense of what is keeping you stuck, what your program would look like, and what you can start doing right now to take your health to the next level. Do you sell gift certificates?

Who is NOT likely to benefit from your programs?

Those looking for a quick fix, and who are not willing to follow through. These programs are probably not appropriate for you if you are clinging to excuses, or if you are expecting us to do all the work. We want to work with people who are ready to make a health a priority, who are open to the inquiry into their self-destructive habits, and who are looking for a fresh perspective.  If you are motivated and excited, we can help you get out of your own way, part the clouds of self-sabotage, and make the process simple and easy. This is not an ordinary program or diet, we will not be counting calories or grams of fat, rather it is about building your intuition about what works best for your YOU-nique body so you can engage in the experience of being fully ALIVE and make your life amazing!  Top 
 
 
How can I guarantee to get the most out of the program and reach my goals?
Obviously, much of your success depends on you. There is no quick fix. The best way to ensure results is to be honest about what is working and what is not, to follow the recommendations and to show up to all your meetings on time.  Top 
 
 
I'm not sure if I can afford the monthly payments right now do you offer extended payment plans?

Can I do one or two sessions and see if I like it?


You can "test-drive" our coaching style by signing up for an
initial consultation or workshop/teleclass. This is a great way to see what it's like to work with us as holistic health coach. Implementing lasting change takes time. This is a gradual process. Each session builds on the last, in a progression. If you are honest, follow the recommendations, and show up you will experience positive results. I invite you to be completely authentic with us throughout the program. We pull from a deep bag of tricks so if something isn't working for you, we will re-evaluate our approach and customize the program to best support you.

 
Starting a program like this does take a risk and a commitment, but don't worry, we are here to hold your hand, remind you that you can do this, and also to provide you with a structure to be accountable within the framework of your life. Being healthy doesn't have to zap all your energy or take up your time, in fact, it is quite the opposite!  Top
